Personal Training

 

Personal Training is exercise designed and adapted specifically for you. Your goals and ability dictate what will be achieved.  Progression is faster than in group exercise as each session is tailored to you. Many different types of training can be incorporated depending on what the clients wants.

 

Personal Training is not just about being old what to do, Mobile Coach will educate you to a level, that exercise will become a permanent part of you lifestyle.

Children's Fitness Coaching - Childhood obesity is on the increase in the UK, with many hours spent in-front of a screen and working parents not having the time or knowledge to prepare nutritious and balanced meals or time for exercise with their children. Overweight children can be bullied by their peers, which can cause low self-esteem. Overweight kids are far more likely to grow up into overweight adults and therefore have a higher risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, cancer, arthritis and other serious health problems later in life. Children's bodies are different to adults as they are still growing; games and exercise are all designed with this in mind.

 

Diet and Nutrition - Understanding how your body uses different foods and what it get from them, will help you make permanent changes to what you eat and when you eat. Diet means what you eat, "your diet," not just, "to goon a diet." Most of us know fad diets do not work; your body is deprived of the nutrients you need during the diet and after the ponds pile back on faster than you lost them. With a greater knowledge of food, you will be able to make wise and ever changing choices in your diet.


Endurance Training - Endurance training is not just for those who would like to run a marathon. Your stamina will increase and day to day activities become easier. Running, swimming, walking, climbing, any cardiovascular activity will improve the efficiency of your heart and lungs.


Family Fitness Coaching - Exercise with other members of your family is fun and can be done on a regular basis. Games and other activities can be enjoyed and adapted for all abilities. Once games and ideas are taught, it may not be necessary to be dependant on a trainer, just some initial motivation and tips. Diet and Nutrition can also be incorporated into the coaching.

 

Pre & Post Natal Exercise - Maybe you are planning on having a baby, already are pregnant or have given birth in the past 2 years; Getting your body in-shape for an easy birth and recovery are essential parts of child birth as your body goes through major adaptations and keep in mind that it takes up to 2 years for your body to go back to it's pre-pregnancy state. Fad diets are not safe at this stage, but exercise is the best way to get your body back as many organs have moved and changed and muscles and skin have been stretched.

 

Posture Analysis & Back Care - Most of us have suffered with back pain at some time in our lives. Some resulting from bad posture or sitting at a desk all day.  Keeping Mobile, working on muscle imbalances, flexibility and strength work will help relieve the pain.


Special Populations Training - GP Referral, High Blood pressure, High Cholesterol, Osteoporosis, Elderly, Children, Obesity, Pregnancy, Arthritis, most conditions are covered, but will all be discussed in detail before an exercise program begins.


Sport Specific Training - If you play golf, tennis, or whatever your sport may be, training will be specific to you and where you need improvement or strength.

 

Strength Training - Strength training is an important component of fitness, especially for women.  This is because of the risk of osteoporosis in post menopausal women. Strength training is not body building. As you improve your strength confidence and well-being will increase and day to day activities will become easier.


Weight Lifting Coaching - Olympic weightlifting includes the clean and jerk and snatch lifts.  This type of training is becoming more common in sports e.g. Football, Athletics.  This is because these lifts involve the whole body to generate power. It is available to everyone and will not make you big, just strong.

 

Weight Loss Coaching -  With over half of the UK population being overweight, weight loss is a major health issue.  Many people do not know how to address the problem or fully understand the consequences of making a change for life. All wil be explained and help and guidance provided every step of the journey.

 

 

Life Coaching

 

Life coaching will help you realise your full potential, helping your personal development and creating positive results. It is a holistic approach that is open to anyone, action led looking at now and the future, addressing all aspects of life; including mind, body and spiritual aspects.

Generally we all want the same out of life: to be healthy and happy, to achieve our goals and ambitions, to love and be loved, enjoy our talents, to be financially okay, to be assertive and have our needs met. To be content with life, behaviours and thoughts need to be changed to facilitate growth.

 

Coaching will identify goals whilst acquiring and sustaining motivation. Confidence and self esteem will be found to make new choices creating a chosen destiny. All the tools we need to achieve our goals come from within. Often help is needed to identify what is needed and to find the motivation.

 

Emotions can often hold us back, as they become additive, they become the norm or a rut. It can be very daunting making changes, so just taking one step at a time towards what is to be achieved is a guaranteed way of getting there.

Financial Coaching - The aim of financial counselling is to educate the client, so they can manage their own finances and make their own calculations of income, expenditure, debt and assets. This advice will not constitute the advice of a professional financial advisor.

 

Lifestyle Coaching - Making positive changes to your lifestyle, is another step towards good health, whether it is your work/home life balance that is out of sync or you are just not doing enough of what you enjoy. Coming out of your comfort zone and making a lifestyle change could be just what you need.

 

NLP - NLP is Neuro-Linguistic Programming, it is a way of modelling language and how we use it differently. The areas involved are the mind and how we think, how we use language and how it affects us and how we sequence our actions to achieve our goals. NLP deals with how we deal with our values and beliefs, how we create emotional states and how we build our own internal world and give it meaning.

 

Relationship Coaching - Relationship issues at work, family or friends can affect many other parts of our lives. Making small changes can result in a positive effect on relationships. It is important to know that if any areas are identified where counselling would be advised a referral can be provided.
